How many times have we listened to someone say tha or nobody in family, workplace, house, town etc. ever tells them anything.
People often feel left out or uninformed whether it is about something happening in the family or at work or in a team.
Where is the responsibility to be informed?
Communication is two-way, we listen and we understand and we listen, it also has many branches. We can get large amounts of information through questioning, observing, involving and most simply, looking at the available information and listening when it is given to us at various activities.
Some easy ideas to keep one informed, include:
- If you hear people saying, no one ever tells me anything, ask them “What have you done to keep yourself informed?”
- Share what you know with others.
Many times when the unknown is a chance to challenge, ask and learn – and we do all of this by keeping ourselves informed.
Have you ever told others? Nobody tells me anything? Why do you think that is? What can you do to change that? Do you find people don’t tell you things within your family and or at work?
If you have never uttered the title statement, why is that? What do you say to someone that nobody tells me anything?
