My book room

As people who read my blogs know, I like asking questions. I found a book and have been inspired to use some of these questions and some of my own to ask Moodscopers questions to learn more about others.

I have found that in the last 5 years I have become awkward when meeting new people or going to social events that are loud and have more than twenty people. Knowing me knowing you is an attempt to help me feel more confident when meeting new people.

Hopefully, this is fun and informative.

Can you remember something you did for first time in last two years? In what room in your house is your happy place and why? Can you think of something that most people would not know about you?

Of course, only answer questions that you are comfortable with and disclose as little or as much as you like.

If you have an ice breaker that you use when meeting new people feel free to share it.

I will start by answering a question. Feel free to comment if you think the question would help us to get to know you or how it could be improved.

In what room in your house is your happy place and why?

I am incredibly lucky to have a book room - not really organised enough to be a library. Just a place full of books and some toys. Having the books all around that contain such a variety of stories and knowledge makes me happy. The fact that there are many piles of books and not enough shelves makes me frustrated.

Can you think of something that most people would not know about you?

I think I have revealed a lot about myself in blogs and comments, so it is hard to think of something I have not shared. When I was 7 my mother made me do ballet, but I was much bigger than the other girls and I had no grace. After 6 months the teacher told my mum she was wasting her money and time on ballet lessons for me. To add insult to injury, in front of me she said she had never seen such an uncoordinated girl!!!

So, your turn to answer a question and or suggest ways to learn about people you have just met.
