It’s The Creative Pumpkin here. I’m a writer and publisher and I’ve had a horrible year.
I was involved in an escooter crash in July 2024, in Norway. For many months afterwards I was in pain. Sometimes worse than others, but pain management was a major issue. But in April I had Knee Replacement Surgery and it’s helped hugely! For the last month I’ve not taken any pain killers. I’m still taking copious meds - but I’m 62 and who knows what state I would be in without them - I’m not about to stop any in a bid to find out.
I measure my mental wellbeing using Moodscope regularly and see a Clinical Psychiatrist who works with me to tweak these things in small increments to keep my moods from swinging too much. I am neither psychotic or suicidal so am very much of a mind not to rock the medicinal boat.
How are you using Moodscope to keep yourself balanced? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
